Scarab |
The small scarab in blue faїence has the names of Amenhotep III and Queen Teye engraved on the base. The cartouche on the right contains the name of Amenhotep III (Nebmaatra), topped by the epithet "perfect god”, and the cartouche on the left contains the name of Teye (Ty), defined by the hieroglyphics on the cartouche as" royal wife". The back of the scarab is made with attention to detail: the elytra are divided by a deep line and the division between the elytra and the clypeus was also carried out with a line.
