Cube statue
Cube statue depicting the official harvester on his legs and with the sides schematizied to provide a writing surface. The head and the crossed hands come out of the upper face of the cube. The face is characterized by a marked plasticity; in particular one notes the full lips and smooth tripartite cap that frames it, which on the stylistic base refers to the Saitic Period. On the front one can read the first two lines of an inscription that is a formula of offering "offer by Hathor, Lady of Gebelein, The Lady of gold, the Lady of the Two Lands. Give her an offer of bread, beer, oxen, geese, milk, textiles, incense ... "
