Ushabti of Imen-em-ipet

Ushabti of Imen-em-ipet

Statue mummiform certainly due at the Ramesside time with features such as the typology of the living presence of his wig, coiffed in the fashion of the nineteenth dynasty, and the series painted in gold. To embellish the piece helps the polychromy: wig, facial features, agricultural implements and nine records of registration are in black, necklace, bracelets and bags for seeds placed on the front of the statue suspended at the wrists, are golden. Imen-em-ipet has a very important title, "Keeper of the treasure of the two lands", typical of the New Kingdom and presumably Tebas area. The sixth chapter of the Book of the Dead takes place on 10 lines that wrap around the body of the statuette.
