Statue of Sobekhotep

The small statue shows a man with a shaved head, represented in standing position with his arms beside his body while holding in his right hand a rolled cloth. The object belongs to the category of ex-voto offered in temples dedicated to Osiris in Abydos.
The sculpture rests on a square base and has a pillar at the back, finishing at shoulder height, decorated with a vertical  inscription made by hieroglyphic signs carved in a perfunctory manner. The inscription reads: "The privileged with Osiris, Sobekhotep justified":
