Scarab (no cat. 942)

Scarab

The small scarab has a hole arranged according to the major axis. The back is made with attention to detail: the prothorax is divided by a line from the elytra, in turn divided by an incised line.
On the base is represented the image of the god Horus in shape of a falcon with the nekhekh scourge and placed above the sign neb; in the face of god is engraved an image of the ureus and at the top was the representation of the winged sun disk, which remains only a wing.
