Scarab (no cat. 944)


Scarab

The small scarab has a longitudinal hole. The details of the back are rendered in a schematic way. The decoration on the base is engraved and is made of an oval frame that contains a geometric floral, reminiscent  of the hieroglyphic sign sema- tawy.
