Statuette of God Osiris

Statuette of god Osiris

The small bronze sculpture represents the god Osiris wrapped in bandages from which exit his hands bearing the heqa sceptre and the nekhekh scourge. The god is represented with a ritual beard, the atef crown, consisting of the white crown topped by the solar disk and flanked by two ostrich feathers and wearing the usekh  collar. The details, such as ostrich feathers and details of the emblems and of the collar, were made in engraving. The statuette is of good quality and made with attention to proportions. The base has a part of a pin useful to secure the bronze base.
