Bowl ( 65957)


Bowl with a conical body, an everted rim and a rounded lip; the bottom is flat. The inner surface is black and shiny, while the outside is rough. The tomb 96 of el- Amrah was discovered intact with its complete funerary equipment. For the funerary equipment found in the tomb one can compare with Randall-MacIver, 1902, pp. 19.37; for the plan of the tomb and the location of the objects compare Randall-MacIver 1902, pl. V, 6 and VII, 1).
