Situla

The situla is decorated with representations  in relief. The area below to edge of the vase has a series of images with the solar boat. The central scene represents two men in a standing position and with their arms raised in adoration of Amun-Min, Horus, Isis and Nephthys. Under some kneeling figures pray and rejoice. These images are related to the meaning of rebirth after death and regeneration; to the same meaning als refers the shape of the breast typical of these vases, associated with the cult of the goddess Isis. The bottom was decorated with  a lotus flower. Also the shape of the handle has a symbolic value and retrieves the amulet shen, also a solar symbol.
