Statuette of Ptah-Sokar-Osiris

Statuette of Ptah-Sokar-Osiris

Mummiform statue depicting the god Ptah-Sokar-Osiris, which was placed over a rectangular box that was lost where a small roll of papyrus with religious texts was kept. The face is framed by a tripartite wig and under the chin one notices a false beard. The traces of coloured stucco show the use of blue for the hair and on the chest one is able to distinguish the elements of a usekh collar with more turns of blue and yellow pendants. The rest of the body was painted red except the central band that highlighted the inscription with yellow ochre.
